Developed for conveyor lines that require a zero tangent 180- or 90-degree curve, the Rexnord Curve System with a 1540 Series MatTop Chain provides a 16.5-inch inner radius and a 0.6-inch transfer. As a result, a small gap exists between the system and its adjacent conveyor, eliminating any necessity for roller transfer bars while offering more flexibility regarding the container types that can be used as they change lines.
Enabling the head-to-tail transfer of various types of cases, including those that are lightweight and small, the system doesn’t require any micro pitch conveyors, plates or transfer modules.
Requiring minimal maintenance, it uses a low number of bearings for zero tangent curves. The system uses several, industry standard width chain strands, and it can be installed effortlessly by one person.
SPACE-SAVINGS IN EACH LINE
In the ongoing chase to optimize space in each facility or line, the Rexnord Curve System
has a starting inner radius of 420 mm, or 30% less than other market solution. Customers
now have the ability to minimize each line’s footprint wherever curves are used.
CONSISTENT PRODUCT ORIENTATION
The Rexnord Curve System with 1540 MatTop Chain uses multiple 84 mm tracks
of 15 mm pitch modular plastic belting to ensure the package rotates without
change in orientation, making for easy conveyor use from small to large case
packs.
The combination of the consistent small noseover and same angular speed
of the chain leads to transfer plates being unnecessary for the successful
transfers of packages of all sizes when exiting the curve. Through this
industry-leading innovation, the system can also handle single containers
without a transfer roller plate. This is all done by using standard 1500
series noseover bars.
