Dematic Company Profile

Goods-to-picker, piece-picking solutions

Goods-to-picker, piece-picking solutions Two goods-to-picker, piece-picking solutions feature compact footprints, ergonomic construction and high rate order assembly capabilities. The RapidPick 1:1 workstation provides automatic delivery and removal of both the donor product container and the order container. The operator is directed by the graphical interface screen to pick a specific quantity of product from the donor container, and then put it to the order container. Additionally, a put wall for order consolidation allows an operator to put items to a shelf location using light-directed technology. Then, order packing occurs on the opposite side of the put wall. Both solutions are supported by the supplier’s Multishuttle 2 inventory staging buffer system that feeds the workstations with products. This automated staging and sequencing system accommodates cartons and totes weighing up to 110 pounds in single, double or triple deep storage.
