The gripper works with a load station that groups cases in the proper sequence and then elevates the product, allowing the gripper forks to gently lift the packages from the bottom. This allows the system to handle various package types, including open top cases. Adjustable vertically and horizontally, the gripper’s forks easily accommodate uneven layers and handle as many as six cases at one time—accurately stacking them on a pallet, regardless of the previously assembled layer’s profile.
