Two new options for put walls increase batch sorting speed, accuracy

The LP HighBeam and LP ThroughPut devices are offered as new options to further boost speed and accuracy when sorting batch picked items into put walls. The LP HighBeam is comprised of individual lights mounted within a destination cubby and connected to the light-directed picking module that indicates put placements.

Scanning a product triggers the module and the light, illuminating the entire cubby to make it more obvious where the item should be placed.

Equipped with a photo-eye sensor, the LP ThroughPut detects when an item has been placed in a cubby, enabling touchless task confirmation that does not require the operator to push a button on the picking module for faster sorting.
