Dorner Manufacturing: Low-profile belt conveyor carries 200-pound loads

Dorner’s 2200 series low-profile belt conveyor can carry a 200-pound maximum load with a 1.25-inch diameter pulley for optimal part transfer and machine interface.

This compact feature allows the conveyor to fit into tight spaces where other conveyors cannot. To enhance weight capacity, the conveyor features an engineered cogged belt with teeth that engage and grip two sprocket pulleys on each end of the conveyor to prevent slippage while pushing or pulling a load. The conveyor reaches speeds up to 370 feet per minute.

Applications include machine integration, robotic pick-and-place operations, indexing, accurate part positioning and timed conveying.
