Toyota Material Handling Company Profile

Vehicle features support comfortable, efficient case picking at 25 feet

For comfortable, efficient picking of cases up to 25 feet, a line of order pickers features a separately excited drive motor for precise speed and torque control, loaded or unloaded. Operator confidence is enhanced by a transistor control system to provide smooth speed shifts and precise positioning of the truck, while a two-speed lift/lower control motor gradually ramps power from low to high for fast, efficient, smooth load handling. The vehicle’s multifunction control handle simultaneously controls both travel and lift/lower functions, as well as houses the horn, for simplified operation. Electric power steering and a wide-view mast with nested mast channels support maneuverability. To enhance overall efficiency, regenerative braking extends motor brush and component life. Operator comfort features include a spacious compartment, low platform height, bubble-cushioned floor mat, low effort brake pedal and cushioned mast stops.
