Flexicon Company Profile

Transfer friable materials gently with tubular cable conveyor

Transfer friable materials gently with tubular cable conveyor For gentle transfer of friable materials—including beans, cereals, coffees, dried fruit and other food products, as well as bulk chemicals, minerals, regrind and pellets of all types—the Flexi-Disc tubular cable conveyor comes in 4- and 6-inch sizes. Low-friction, high-strength polymer discs slide materials gently, quietly and dust-free through tubing. The tubing can be routed horizontally, vertically or at any angle, through small holes in walls or ceilings, and over short or long distances. Capable of accommodating single or multiple inlet configurations that are metered and/or non-metered, and discharges that are valved or open, the conveyor’s cable-disc assembly is pulled through the tubing circuit by a drive wheel at one end of the circuit. The cable is kept taut by an automatic cable tensioner at the opposite end of the circuit. Flexicon, 888-353-9426, http://www.flexicon.com.
