DC Expert 4.0 warehouse management system by Insight Group Technologies now enables the import of existing SKU profile and location data to perform real-time slotting that ensures optimum product placement for enhanced warehouse operations.
Integrated self-building slotting algorithms allow the creation of any number of slotting models using criteria associated with the product family, SKU characteristics, location details, and/or customized criteria unique to a facility’s slotting methodology.
Results can be uploaded into the system’s Task Management module to execute selected product moves.
