Amerden AGVS: Custom Counterbalanced Automatic Guided Vehicle

A custom counterbalanced automatic guided vehicle can transport loads up to 20 feet tall through a facility. The load-handling system includes a load-pusher that supports pallet-less loads as well as standard pallets. It can also handle double-stacked loads or stack loads up to four units high.

To accommodate tall loads and navigate safely through all areas, the vehicle incorporates an adjustable-height navigation laser system that raises or lowers as needed without stopping or slowing the vehicle.

Controlled by a system manager running on redundant PCs, the vehicle uses an intelligent automatic battery charging system to maximize battery life and minimize system downtime.
