Constructed of resilient polyurethane on aluminum, AX wheels by Albion are engineered to move heavy loads in demanding materials handling applications, including towing, assembly conveyance, body weld carts and more.
Based on testing, the wheel requires 20% less force to move than comparative wheels, making them ergonomic and maneuverable. They come in sizes from 4 to 8 inches with a 2-inch tread width. The wheels feature a rounded 85 Shore A durometer polyurethane tread that is chemically and mechanically bonded to a lightweight aluminum core.
The non-marking tread material provides easy swiveling and quiet gliding—even across debris—while carrying loads up to 1,500 pounds per wheel. Skid-resistant, the wheels dispel debris such as sand, metal chips and weld slag. For maintenance free operation, the wheels are equipped double sealed precision ball bearings.
