The TempTracker module is offered for Cadec Global’s PowerVue enterprise fleet management system.
TempTracker uses wireless technology to monitor and document truckload temperatures, and alerts drivers and management on exceptions in real time. This function ensures safe delivery of perishable foods. Using a secure Web site, transportation managers can view temperature data, track trends and create on-demand reports.
Exceptions are noted on an alerting engine and can also be tracked and trended. For added protection, optional door sensors that monitor door openings and closings (and their precise effects on temperature) can be added.
