Ideal for use with work-in-process, labor tracking and shop floor ERP systems, the new version features multiple upgrades. These include an integral biometric fingerprint reader for positive worker identification, and power-over-Ethernet for ease of overall network installation, and changing configurations. To maximize input flexibility, the device can be outfitted with four or more simultaneous auto-ID reader/writers, plus Bluetooth. The system comes standard with the Windows CE 6.0 operating system running on an XScale 624MHz processor and is easily programmable with Microsoft Visual Studio.
