Efficient and flexible, the system places picking carts behind a put frame, which features put-to-light displays. From there, users can connect order bins on the carts to the light displays with a scan.
Afterwards, the Kardex Compact Buffer Module retrieves storage bins as users have requested, prior to delivering them to ergonomic access points. The system’s displays will show how many items users should pick, which are then picked from picking carts and placed into bins. After orders are completed, the bins will then be transported to shipping, and floor space decreases by more than 80%.
