With iDock Link, loading docks with virtually any type of existing equipment can connect online to myQ Dock Management. Even facilities with older dock equipment or equipment from another manufacturer (aside from the developer of myQ) can connect their loading docks online to myQ Dock Management.
Able to be installed at every existing dock with a variety of available sensors, iDock Link can monitor equipment and loading activity, ranging from doors and forklifts, to hydraulic fluid levels and levelers, to restraints and truck presence. Using Internet of Things technology, iDock Link can also pair with a gateway, to transfer loading information to the Cloud.
Afterward, it can be reviewed in the user’s online account, using myQ Dock Management, to improve operational efficiency and reduce expenses.
Loading Dock Communication and Controls
Structurally superior loading dock levelers and vehicle restraints from Poweramp can now be equipped with iDock® Controls. These technologically advanced controls provide an efficient interface with membrane dome button technology for ease of use and an interactive message display for valuable equipment usage, instructions, notifications and other information. iDock Controls also have a 3-color light communication combined into one large LED light assembly to clearly indicate the conditions of the dock.
iDock Controls can now be connected to the cloud with myQ® Dock Management, a web-based software for loading dock analytics. Simply pair your controllers with an iDock Gateway and setup your online account at myQ.com. From there you’ll be able to view visual reports of your loading dock activity and efficiency. You can also receive text or email notifications of events at the docks.
