Frazier Industrial Company (Booth B9404), a manufacturer of structural steel storage solutions, has been awarded a new Pallet Spacing System & Method patent. The patent will be a key value add across the company’s semi-automated, high density rack solution, the Pallet Mole.

Updated fire codes dictate that warehouse rack systems will require ceiling sprinklers when storage depth exceeds 20 feet, with pallets having to maintain a minimum of 6 inches space from one another in both the front-to-back direction and vertical alignment. In absence of the latter, an in-rack sprinkler system is required.

These and other code requirement updates render some current racking designs non-compliant. Frazier’s new patent helps customers effectively address these risks. This system is the first solution of its kind in response to issues that have persisted for several years and is another example of Frazier’s continued thought leadership within the supply chain.
