CHEP USA: Value Stream Mapping for Supply Chains

The service provider’s Value Stream Mapping capability analyzes 12 different areas for a company to improve efficiency and sustainability in product handling throughout the supply chain. Analysis areas include unit load optimization, product damage reduction and packaging performance enhancements.

To test how a product and its packaging perform throughout the supply chain, an ISTA-certified test facility is offered to simulate real-world conditions such as warehouse stacking, unit load deflection, package handling, transport vibration and environmental conditions.

Additionally, back haul shipping services are offered to identify transportation synergies, reduce the amount of trucks on the road, lower transport costs, improve network efficiencies and reduce carbon footprint.
