By integrating the S9 pallet dimensioner with a stretch wrapper, operations can accurately determine the dimensions of palletized freight as it’s wrapped. With this information, users can then distribute dimensions and freight weights to transportation management systems (TMS), enabling them to populate their bills of lading.
By acquiring the dimensions of freight, while stretch wrapping, operations can enhance efficiency and speed. Aside from receiving these dimensions, users can obtain images of all four sides of their freight with the dimensioner’s camera.
These photos can help alleviate any claims associated with damage, losses and shortages. Featuring a 15-inch touchscreen monitor, the dimensioner can measure lengths and widths of 8 to 60 inches, as well as heights of 8 to 96 inches.
The Cubiscan S9 is a pallet dimensioning tower designed to integrate with stretch wrapping machines that utilize a rotating plate. It uses a laser to detect and measure the pallet as it rotates on the platform and a camera to take a photo of the freight.
