Augmented reality platform improves operational output.

A new augmented reality platform, Ability Remote Insights, is designed to increase response times and asset lifecycles while also enhancing production performance and operational productivity. The platform uses headsets to primarily assist field service technicians and expand the reach of subject matter experts.

Enabling field service technicians to share their views of situations by using its camera, the platform provides users an opportunity to receive guidance directly from experts—through on-screen annotations, chats and document sharing.

In turn, service response times will be faster, as maintenance actions can be completed sooner than in the past.
