ORBIS Company Profile

ORBIS rackable plastic pallets are designed to store products in a wide variety of unsupported racking systems, to optimize valuable floor space in today’s warehouses and distribution systems.

ORBIS rackable plastic pallets are designed to store products in a wide variety of unsupported racking systems, to optimize valuable floor space in today’s warehouses and distribution systems.

The 40 x 48 RackoCell one-piece plastic pallet is designed for hygienic use in food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications.

The RackoCell pallet features a flow-through deck for thorough sanitizing and fast drying, availability in FDA-approved material and no hidden cavities or hollow areas for contaminants to collect.

Also, now available with x-ray or metal detectable material specifically for food plants that use x-ray detection to inspect loads prior to shipping. This allows plants to use fully hygienic plastic pallets throughout their entire internal processing facility.

Rackable plastic pallets optimize storage, reduce product damage that can occur from wood pallets and ease the movement of product loads throughout a system. This plastic pallet offers an economic, environmental and efficient alternative to wood pallets or skids.

In independent testing conducted by the Virginia Tech Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design, the RackoCell plastic pallet was shown to have 18 times the lifespan of a whitewood stringer pallet. Both were tested using the Center’s FasTrack life-cycle analysis to compare relative durability.

The hygienic, one-piece plastic pallet completed a 10-step handling sequence up to 200 times without failure; the wood pallet’s average failure rate was 11 cycles. In addition to durability, the plastic pallet is easy to clean, eliminates wood chips from production facilities, and protects loads from damage caused by nails or loose wood pallet boards.
