The YMConnect software development kit was created to help operations create custom PC applications to communicate with Yaskawa robots.
The kit’s dynamic motion interface can help facilitate specific movements for the robots and operations will have access to a discussion board to troubleshoot any issues with software development experts.
Applications are coded using the C++ 17 language and the kit contains code documentation that explains functions as needed. Users can help robots read the configuration of axes, monitor feedback position as well as monitor the state of operations, among others.
YMConnect is an intuitive, modern communication library that allows you to create innovative robotics applications quickly and easily. Builds are available for Windows and Ubuntu.
This library is free to use under an Apache 2.0 license.
Currently, C++ is supported. Additional languages are on the development roadmap.
