Available in low profile 5-inch heights, RAMGuard rack column protectors can be used for columns with bottom pallet positions that are raised off of floors (such as those for food storage), along with outrigger applications.
Twelve inches in size, the protectors weigh 9 pounds and are comprised of energy absorbing rubber that has a “U-shaped” steel insert, along with force distributing rubber voids. Able to absorb considerable energy during impact, the RAMGuard dissipates more impact energy, along with more enhanced distributing impact forces, than other typically used guards.
According to frontal impact test data that has been released, the rack column protectors can decrease impact stress levels within a column by up to 72%.

After nearly two years of development, testing and proto-type designs, the new patented RAMGuard delivers the greatest impact resistance available in aftermarket column guards. Through extensive testing and evaluation, a specific rubber compound was formulated to provide a balance between durability, density and impact absorption qualities. A “U-shaped” steel plate was selected to maximize impact protection from multiple angles. Finally, rubber voids were introduced to assist in the distribution of impact forces.
