A line of high-frequency modular chargers by Hawker has been expanded to include the Lifespeed MOD3 brand, equipped with switch-mode ionic smart charging technology.
The unit offers the flexibility of a fast charger, an opportunity charger and a straight-through charger to reduce charging costs and energy use. To increase charge acceptance, the chargers use patented AccelRate technology to create a unique charge algorithm that reduces resistance in the plates.
This provides a fully charged battery in less than three hours without generating excessive heat.
Because each individual power module operates independently, if one module stops working, the others continue charging the battery to eliminate the risk of failures and downtime.
