Workhog batteries have proven themselves to be reliable, rugged performers in thousands of applications and work environments. While the Workhog battery is adding value by boosting productivity, it’s also cutting costs. Workhog batteries decrease expensive lift truck maintenance because the higher sustained voltage and lower amp draw reduces heat and strain on the truck’s electrical components.
Deserthog Batteries:
The Deserthog battery delivers all the power, reliability and performance you expect from an EnerSys Ironclad battery. And you get the added convenience of having the most “maintenance free” flooded battery in the industry.
Available in 90, 100 and 125 amp hour sizes, Deserthog batteries contain an added water reserve that gives you up to four inches of watering space. You’ll add water about 4-6 times a year versus every week. That means a more efficient operation with lower maintenance costs.
Loadhog Batteries:
The Loadhog battery is a proven high-performance battery delivering brute strength and real staying power. Loadhog batteries were the first to pack 100 amp-hours of capacity into a standard 85 amp-hour compartment.
That’s 18% more capacity than similarly sized conventional batteries - more than enough to keep running strong through the toughest shifts. The Loadhog battery delivers higher voltage levels throughout discharge than standard flat plate or round tube battery designs due to the Ironclad Effect.
Superhog Batteries:
For the fastest runs, quickest lifts, and most demanding industrial and warehousing applications, turn to the super performance, long life, and easy maintenance of the supercharged Superhog. It delivers consistently higher voltages, so your trucks maintain optimum travel speeds, lift quicker, and last longer into the shift day.
Superhog 110 and 155 AH batteries reduce the chance of over-discharging, premature battery changes, or production stops. The Superhog E110 battery maintains 40% of its charge when a conventional 85 amp-hour battery reaches the critical 80% discharge point and is ready to be recharged. The Superhog E155 typically lasts 2 1/2 hours longer than a conventional 125 amp-hour battery.
Smarthog Batteries:
The Smarthog battery line offers the industry’s first 23” and 31” high, 80- and 120-AH valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. 60-, 45- and 28-AH sizes are also available. Clean, safe, and efficient, Smarthog batteries eliminate the need to remove vent caps, add water, or take hydrometer readings.
At the end of the work day, simply connect the battery to your charger. Proven Ironclad valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) technology causes gas to recombine during charging, so the battery emits little or no gas under normal conditions.
Smartpack Batteries
Smartpack batteries are maintenance free VRLA batteries with onboard chargers that can be plugged into any 15A, 120V AC line. The fully automatic, integral battery charger is matched to the battery to maintain peak performance with plug-in convenience. There’s no supplementary equipment or charger installation needed. Smartpacks are available in up to 600 A.H.
