For improved visibility and predictive insights into the digital supply chain, Oracle’s portfolio of Internet of Things (IoT) cloud solutions include four new offerings to detect, analyze and respond to key signals.
Included are the IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud that monitors assets, utilization, availability and data from connected sensors and creates incidents in the backend to automate workflows; the IoT Connected Worker Cloud that tracks employees to support safety, service and regulatory compliance; the IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud that tracks the position and progress of passenger, service and delivery vehicles and driver-behavior; and the IoT Production Monitoring Cloud that oversees equipment to assess and predict manufacturing issues.
By applying advanced, predictive analytics to the device signals, the applications calculate complex business-specific key per¬formance indicators and trigger automated actions in real time.
