A customized transfer system by Montech AG, combined with a vacuum conveyor, can optimize the sorting process.

The system carries and sorts small work pieces both individually and in stacks. After sorting, the vacuum conveyor moves the items in a closed loop transfer system that includes picking, transport and placing operations—without unproductive return strokes.

To increase productivity, the vacuum conveyor runs at a speed of 16.4 feet per second.
