UR cobots work hand-in-hand with operators at production facilities

UR cobots work hand-in-hand with operators at production facilities big and small, across a range of industries. With their compact size, fastest payback in the industry, versatility, and easy programming, our cobots lower the automation barrier to put advanced robotic solutions within the reach of all manufacturers.

At Universal Robots we believe automation is for everybody. UR has reinvented industrial robotics with lightweight and collaborative robot arms to automate virtually anything from delicate and precise tasks to the labor-intensive work of palletizing and welding. And with the recent introduction of the new 16kg payload UR16e cobot, automation is even easier for palletizing or heavy machine tending.

UR cobots work hand-in-hand with operators at production facilities big and small, across a range of industries. With their compact size, fastest payback in the industry, versatility, and easy programming, our cobots lower the automation barrier to put advanced robotic solutions within the reach of all manufacturers. The fast set-up of UR cobots allows a true plug-and-play experience, reducing typical robot deployment measured in weeks to a matter of hours to minimize operational downtime and disruption. UR cobots are flexible, space saving and easy to re-deploy to multiple applications quickly without changing production layouts or programs.

Due to UR’s user-friendly tablet interface, anyone within the production facility can become a robot programmer even without prior experience. Save on the cost of professional programmers, as operators can program and operate UR cobots simply by moving the robotic arms to desired waypoints or by touching the arrow keys on a user-friendly touchscreen tablet. The UR product portfolio includes the UR3, UR5, UR10 and UR16 robot arms named after their payloads in kilos, they all feature 0.1 mm repeatability and span in reach from 19.7” in to 51.2”.
