The Beacon World Class Products BD Series Self Dumping Hopper increases productivity while decreasing injuries at the workplace.
The Steel Hopper is engineered with a range of dump degrees from 67 degrees to 78 degrees, depending on size and model. Designed to be portable and transported with a forklift utilized at more than one workstation, to load, unload, raise, lower or move various materials or liquids.
Capacities range from 2000 pounds to 6000 pounds with a volume range of 1/4 cubic yard up to 3 cubic yards.
Usable chute sizes range from a 20-inch width x 41-1/4-inch depth x 27-7/8-inch height up to a 88-1/4-inch width x 63-3/4-inch depth x 41-1/2-inch height. Special sizes available upon request. Steel thickness ranges from 12 gauge to 8 gauge.
Substructure includes 2-1/2-inch high x 7-1/2-inch wide x 58-inch long fork tube pockets for a stable portable forklift transport design. Security locking chain is standard to secure the Steel Hopper to the forklift.
The bumper release is manufactured on the front of the Steel Hopper to trigger the forward dumping when activated. The dumping operation includes a self-dumping process when the bumper release contacts the side of the dumpster. After the hopper dumps, the forklift driver backs up to remove pressure off the bumper release and the hopper will return automatically to an upright, locked position, ready for another load.
Very stable and rugged design, intended for indoor or outside use. Each unit features robotic welds to ensure consistency and quality. Optional leak proof weld design available. Exterior and interior surface is coated with a standard rugged baked on powder finish. Optional galvanized finish available upon request.
