Datalogic Company Profile

Capture images with 55-inch field of view long-range camera

Developed for demanding applications such as parcel sorting and retail distribution, the AV7000 linear long-range camera offers a large, 55-inch field of view to collect high definition images in a single picture. This avoids the puzzle effect created when images are stitched from multiple partial pictures. Full definition, highly compressed JPG images are saved in real time to local or remote servers for analysis. When installed with the supplier’s Pulsed Lighting System, the multi-sided reading station has a small footprint that enables installation in 50% less space than non-pulsed lighting systems. To detect poor quality labels on noisy backgrounds, the camera uses a next generation decode algorithm to read poor quality labels on very noisy backgrounds, at irregular speeds, or on accelerated conveyor lines.
