The new ALR-S350 ultra high-frequency (UHF) radiofrequency identification (RFID) sled reader is engineered for heavy inventory tasks.
Handheld, the device includes RFID in the sled, yet separates it from the operating system, display and communications technology.
This allows users to connect the reader to a personal phone or tablet. Highlights include a double-capacity single battery that enables up to 24 hours of use; robust construction drop/impact tested to 4.9 feet; IP 54 dust and water rating; an antenna that operates in linear, circular or proximity modes; and Bluetooth connection to any smart device. It reads up to 200 tags per second, and is also capable of reading all major 1D and 2D bar codes.
