To increase efficiency, reduce labor costs, eliminate errors and ensure traceability, the 3D Shuttle automated storage and retrieval system uses gantry robot technologyintegrated with a shuttle device.

The system stores and retrieves goods in plastic crates, totes, bins and containers for case picking and goods-to-man order picking. Ideal for
retail order fulfillment, the robotic system is simple, scalable and movable—as well as easy to install and maintain.

Up to six times more efficient than manual solutions, it picks up to 1,000 totes per hour.

Cimcorp 3D Shuttle is an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) suitable for a wide variety of applications in which a large number of SKUs are handled in plastic crates, totes, boxes, baskets, trays or bins.

It is ideal for serving goods-to-person order picking stations in retail, food service and e-commerce; distribution centers handling parts and components, especially applications in which there are large product ranges and a requirements for high service levels; and car assembly lines supported by third party logistics providers (3PLs) that need to hold stocks of components and ensure delivery to the assembly line to maintain Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery schedules.

Cimcorp 3D Shuttle can manage a distribution center’s entire operations or, alternatively, the system may operate as an ‘island’ of automation within a manual facility. The solution uses proven gantry robot technology, combined with an innovative shuttle device integrated into the gantry, to store and retrieve totes required for order fulfillment.
