Reusable packaging solutions for retailers from ORBIS

In Booth S1803, ORBIS Corp. is highlighting a variety of reusable handheld totes, bulk containers and pallets that meet the needs of omni-channel and e-commerce retailers—from manufacture through distribution and in-store.

“Reusable packaging is being deployed more and more throughout the retail supply chain,” said Samantha Goetz, marketing communications manager. “One area that’s particularly hot is online grocery ordering by consumers for pickup at the store. Reusable handheld totes are ideal for picking and temporarily storing those orders.”

Additionally, ORBIS offers carts that transport multiple reusable totes to support order picking in distribution centers and retail stores.

Also featured is the Pally—a cross between a pallet and a dolly—that allows users to streamline fulfillment, distribution and merchandising efforts faster, easier and with greater versatility. The unit allows goods to be moved easily from distribution center to truck to retail aisle without extra touches, said Goetz.

Offered in a small-format footprint of either 31.5 x 23.6 or 39.4 x 23.6 inches, the Pally navigates tight spaces on integrated 3-inch casters that can convert to static mode with foot-pedal activation.
