Beacon® Dock Door Seals are designed and engineered to keep the energy costs down by minimizing to keep out the elements such as cold and hot weather, birds, dust, dirt, wind and fumes out of your distribution center, warehouse or manufacturing facility.

The units are also aid as an anti-theft protection barrier. Features a barrier between the dock wall and trailer helping ensure safety and security when loading and unloading semi-trailer trucks.

Dock Door Seals feature sizes that fit most standard overhead doors including 8’ x 8’, 8’ x 9’, 8’ x 10’, 9’ x 10’ and 10’ wide x 10’ high.  Beacon supplies survey sheets to accommodate special sizes and to identify a driveway incline or decline at the loading dock.

Door seal pad projections are manufactured for compression including 10”, 12” for pit levelers and 20” for edge of dock levelers. Features 16 oz., 22 oz. or 40 oz. vinyl coated nylon, 16 oz. or 40 oz. hypalon coated nylon or neoprene coated nylon material.

Dock door seals can be installed with most overhead doors including driveways that are either sloped up or down. It is important to specify the angle of the driveway when choosing a model to determine if a tapered seal is required. Consult with a specialist from Beacon when ordering.

Beacon®  provides dock door seals with materials that are built to last. Solid foam is utilized and includes air pockets that allow the unit to breathe when the truck backs into the seal. Solid wood backing is utilized rather than particle wood. The backboard of the seal is incased by the material creating a water repellant design, keeping your loading dock location clean and secure.

Keeping the building, assets and equipment dry and free of the outside elements at the loading dock area with dock door seals is one of the key structural components of a building.
